When I look back on my nursing journey, bittersweet memories come to mind and stir my heart.
However, when my daughter arrived at the beginning of my second year of residency, I found myself having to return to 12+ hour shifts at only eight weeks postpartum. My plan was to exclusively pump with a goal of making it to six months.
